The Q-Explosion Proof Obstruction Light Low Intensity 200 cd is a ICAO & CAP437 & CAP168 compliance 200 cd Obstruction light for hazardous areas up to zone 1. The Q-Explosion Proof Obstruction Light is available in the configurations 100-240 VAC and 24 VDC.
An omni-directional low intensity steady red obstruction light is fitted to the highest point of the installation. The light conforms to the specifications for a low intensity obstacle light having a minimum intensity of 50 cd for angles of elevation between 0 and 15 degrees, and a minimum intensity of 200 cd between 5 and 8 degrees. Where it is not practicable to fit a light to the highest point of the installation (e.g. on top of flare towers) the light is fitted as near to the extremity as possible.
